I have collaborated with Jackie Hawkins for many years; I have learned so much from her as my mentor. She is the epitome of a public health strategist and serves as a catalyst in making changes in communities. Recently, she conducted community engaged research with a maternal health project funded by PEW Charitable Trust. Her strategies of community engagement with the participants were amazing. Jackie and I have collaborated on several outreach and community-engaged research projects over the years. Delta Health Solutions is a proven organization for finding the health solutions needed to improve our communities. 

It has been a pleasure working with Delta Community Solutions over the past 3 years. Ms. Jackie Hawkins is a trusted champion for health equity in the Mississippi Delta. Her work in developing our community health worker program and training community health workers has been critical as we develop community-based solutions to urgent health care needs in the MS Delta.
